PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
We pledge allegiance to the flags
of the foreign nations of the world
and to our Aid for which they stand.
Public education, underfunded
With oppression and injustice for all.
How does that all hold with the preamble to the constitution.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence,[note 1] promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Subsidies for the BIG OIL companies
while the bleed us at the pump.
Foreign countries using the aid money we give them
to hire lobbyists to represent their interests
to influence our elected officials.

The utterly irresponsible behavior of our elected officials makes me
FURIOUS
hmmmm. We have already talked about this I think. Our government should be more accountable.

I will say that as far as the oil subsidies goes, we are going to feel it in our pocket book one way or the other . . . . they take away the subsidies (which are tax breaks) will just be passed on to us somewhere else along the line and we'll pay them anyway. We'll bleed either way!
We borrow money to give aid, and forgive multi billion dollar debts owed to us by other countries. Doesn't make sense to me. Oh well, since when has the govt ever make sense?
