We devoured ghoulish contrivances then gutted pumpkins

‘Twas the night before Halloween and all's not well on the deck,
The goblins are lurking and an apparition's raising HECK.
The horseman's head left there under his hat.
Out in the shadows hisses a Hugh, ugly black CAT!
A little pumpkin's upchucking his meal of green chips,
the remains are still there, stuck on his lips.
Women wildly screaming in pain o'er their fingerless hands.
Black beard's ghost is bellowing because we're gnawing his remains.
"Fifteen men on a dead mans chest, Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of rum"
With a dagger in heart and ice cubes of blood drawn from his veins.
Slovenly brown mud with worms and witches stuffed therein.
Yummy Broccoli Poop with a Scoop beckons us to begin,
Bloody smoked oysters in shells we shun with grave FEAR.
I'm so glad that Halloween comes just once a year.

  1. That's pretty cool. Knowing me, it would have freaked me out a little bit when i was younger
